Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Voltaris eBikes. By purchasing from our store, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Terms

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
Voltaris eBikes reserves the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our discretion.
By purchasing from Voltaris eBikes, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the permission of a legal guardian.

2. Warranty Policy

Custom eBike Builds: Warranty covers factory defects only. Wear and tear to components (such as tyres, brakes, chains, and gears) is not covered under warranty.
Batteries: Come with a 30-day warranty. Abuse, improper use, or damage caused by misuse will not be covered.
Individual Battery Cells: No warranty is provided on individual battery cells, as their use is beyond our control.
Custom eBikes: Custom-built eBikes include a 30-day warranty, excluding wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by the user.

3. Returns and Refunds

Refunds will be issued upon receipt of the returned item in brand new, unused condition.
A 10% restocking fee will apply to change-of-mind returns.
Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds will not be issued for items that are damaged, modified, or not in their original condition.

4. Shipping Policy

Lithium batteries can only be shipped by road via Australia Post or TNT within Australia.
Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Voltaris eBikes is not responsible for shipping delays.
Signature is required for all deliveries unless an Authority to Leave (ATL) request is submitted before dispatch.
Voltaris eBikes is not responsible for stolen packages once marked as delivered by the courier.

5. Legal Compliance & User Responsibility

NSW Law: In New South Wales, electric bikes for road use are restricted to 500w pedal assist with a speed limit of 25km/h.
Voltaris eBikes sells both road-legal and off-road eBikes. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure they comply with local laws.
eBikes can be delivered in legal mode, off-road mode, or user-programmable mode. The responsibility for correct usage and compliance with local regulations lies entirely with the user.
Voltaris eBikes assumes no responsibility for how an eBike is used, nor for any legal consequences if a customer chooses to operate it outside of legal requirements.
